Visitors to the 42,000-square-foot Wildlife Center located on the Currituck Sound will have opportunities to learn about the wildlife of North Carolina's northeastern coastal region. Waterfowl hunting, decoy-making and fishing—traditions that are connected to the region's ecology—are important elements in the center's design.
